About AXHU
General Information
Charted in 2000, Anhui Xinhua Investment Group, Co., Ltd, starts up with the forerunner, Anhui Xinhua Vocational College. In 2005, through evaluation and accreditation by the Ministry of Education of the People’ s Republic of China (MOE), via restructuring to upgrade, it turns to undergraduate-specific schooling and then is renamed in Anhui Xinhua University (AXHU). In 2009, ratified by MOE, the university is with a qualification for bachelor’s degree granting, which becomes the first private university to confer bachelor’s degree in Anhui province and also is enrolled into the TOP 10 non-government higher education institutions of China.
AXHU is located in Hefei, capital of Anhui province in China, and nestled in a scientific, humanistic and ecological community where is a hub for the national-level hi-tech industrial development zone, the birthplace of a honored official, Bao Zheng (999-1062 AD), an upright one known for his dignity of jurisdiction deeds in Song Dynasty, and its campus lies in the southern range of Dashu Mountain National Forest Park.
